On October 25, the Department of Social Science organized an educational field trip to Siri Gramodyoga Samsthe, Belthangady. The visit provided a wonderful learning experience for all the students, giving them an opportunity to understand rural industries and explore the process behind traditional product manufacturing.
During the visit, Shri Jeevan Kumar, General Manager of SIRI, warmly welcomed the group and shared valuable insights about the various products produced by the organization. He explained the stages of production, the importance of preserving local craftsmanship, and how SIRI supports rural communities through employment and skill development. Students enthusiastically listened and gained practical knowledge beyond the classroom.
The entire program was coordinated smoothly by Social Science teachers Mr. Vivek, Ms. Akshatha, and Ms. Nisha, ensuring that the students had a meaningful and engaging experience.
Overall, the field trip was both educational and enjoyable, leaving students inspired and more aware of the significance of rural industries in community development.
