The Children’s Day celebration at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara English Medium School (State), Ujire was held with great enthusiasm on 15th November. The school campus was filled with joy, excitement, and vibrant performances presented by the teachers to make the day memorable for the students.
The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Somasekhar, senior teacher, who extended warm Children’s Day wishes to all the students. He highlighted the importance of childhood and encouraged the students to nurture discipline, curiosity and compassion in their daily lives.
Headmistress Mrs. Vidyalaxmi Nayak presided over the event and appreciated the efforts of the teachers who organised the celebration. She reminded the students to dream big, work hard, and build a bright future with determination and self-confidence.
Teachers presented various entertaining programmes, including songs, skits, and dance performances, which delighted the students. Mr. Nischita D.P., Science teacher, delivered a meaningful message on Children’s Day and Teacher Babitha compered the programme with enthusiasm.
Fun-filled games and activities were arranged for the students, making the day lively and enjoyable. Certificates and small goodies were distributed to the winners of various competitions.
The celebration concluded with the teachers blessing all students for a happy, healthy, and successful future.
