The Teachers’ Day Celebration for the academic year 2025 was held with great enthusiasm and respect at SDM English Medium School, Ujire (State) on Saturday, 6th September 2025, at 2:00 PM. The Principal, staff, and students jointly organized the programme to honour and appreciate the invaluable contributions of the teaching fraternity.

The event commenced with an invocation song, followed by a warm welcome extended to the Headmistress, Mrs. Vidhyalaxmi Nayak, staff members, and students. The beautiful backdrop and creatively designed stage, inspired by educational elements such as books, calculators, symbols of mathematics, and floral décor, added charm to the celebration.

A special recital of the Sanskrit shloka “Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu…” set a divine tone and highlighted the significance of teachers as guides, mentors, and sources of knowledge. The theme of the celebration, “Inspiring the Next Generation of Learners,” captured the spirit of the occasion and emphasized the role of teachers in shaping young minds.

Students presented various cultural performances including speeches, songs, dances, and role-play to express their gratitude toward their teachers. The Headmistress, Mrs. Vidhyalaxmi Nayak, addressed the gathering with an inspiring message, appreciating the dedication and hard work of the teachers and encouraging students to always value their mentors.
